The king of Burgonia very young son, who escaped to America is now a young man and wants to go home to his people, where he can now rule. He's about Jimmy Olsen's age now and Olsen and Kent are the given to story to cover the coronation event. Howewer, the opposing forces who drove the youngster into exile and still around and don't want to see the real prince return. A last-minute plot to kill the prince in America is foiled by Superman.

The prince, in gratitude, gives his ring to Olsen to give to Superman. Meanwhile, Olsen and Kent travel to the foreign country but at the gate, spies waiting to capture the prince, see the ring on Olsen's finger and think he's the royalty. Olsen tries to explain to everyone that's he not the prince but no one is listening. Soon, after more attempts on Olsen's life foiled by Kent, they decide to let Jimmy pretend a little while longer until the real prince makes it safely back.

A "fair" episode in all and a bit unusual in that Lois Lane was absent and Perry White had a very small role in the beginning. It could have used a little more humor to spice it up a bit. The episode was just a bit flat for what could have been a very wild story.
