Cub reporter Jimmy Olsen (Jack Larson) is mistaken for Prince Gregory of Burgonia (Chet Marshall), who has been targeted for assassination. Putting his life on the line, Jimmy agrees to impersonate Gregory, the better to bring the would-be killer out in the open. Jimmy's Not So Charmed Life
8 February 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

There is a coup going on in a little European country, Burgonia, and the Prince is going back to settle things down. The Prince spends time with Jimmy Olsen and they develop a friendship. While they are together, an attempt is made on his life, and Superman must circumvent it. The Prince is grateful and wants to give Superman a beautiful ring, the symbol of his country. But because Superman takes off immediately, he gives the ring to Jimmy to give to Superman at their next meeting. Of course, because he is wearing the ring, some revolutionaries think he is the prince when he arrives in Burgonia. No matter what he says, no one believes him. He even meets a woman who has been part of an arranged marriage. She is very friendly to Jimmy, if you get my gist. Also, it seems that just about everyone in the picture are set upon killing the Prince/Jimmy. Of course, Clark is there, so Superman is there, and numerous assassination attempts are foiled without Jimmy even realizing it. Eventually the efforts to be subtle in their efforts forces the bad guys to simply stick Jimmy in front of a firing squad. A fun episode, if only to watch Jimmy trying not to be the Prince and failing to get his point across.
