In this episode, Big Pete and Dad have been long time fishermen in hunt for one of the largest bass on the lake that they have named Bob. It seems that everyone knows Bob but no one has been able to finally hook the large fish. This year Dad is determined to be the one that catches the large fish and purchases a new high-tech device bound to make the catch. But what bothers Pete is that his Dad, after catching the fish, is going to mount the dead fish in plastic- like it is still alive. Big Pete is having second thoughts.
But don't worry, little Pete will come to Dad's rescue and become a 'fish talker' and there is no way that Dad cannot hook the fish. But Big Pete has a scheme that he will put into place to try to save Bob.
This is a pretty straight forward episode that was well done by the actors. The story may be less involved than others but in the end it proves that family is the most important thing to the Wrigleys. A nice and entertaining show.
