This manages to mix the Christmas spirit and vague Adam's 60s ghoulishness perfectly and makes for extremely enjoyable viewing

The Dancing Santas

This is one of my favorite episodes of the show as well as one of my favorite Christmas episodes. There's not much I can say as it's simply about the Addams family trying to reaffirm the kid's belief in Santa and Christmas in general.

It's just funny seeing each of the family members dress up as Santa and each one has their own interpretation of him. From Gomez which is funny as we see him not just have trouble getting into Wednesday and Pugsley's room but also getting out, makes you wonder how the heck Santa does it so easily. Even Lurch who is well simply being Lurch but in a Santa suit which makes it all the funnier; Lurch never had a broad acting range but at least he's trying and helping.

In a way this is sort of an homage to the many people that have played Santa in movies and TV over the years and have all had different interpretations of him, but all were in the same spirit. But also, this episode is simply about ourselves and how we all each year keep tradition and belief in all that's good alive, which to me is part of the joy of Christmas. But in the end the Addam's get a gift they'll remember for all the Christmas's to come.

So, Happy Holidays.
