Storyline

Kitty-Cat, normally a good eater, has no appetite, leaving the family to speculate over what could be wrong. Finally they call in Dr. Gunderson, a veterinarian who is woefully uninformed that Kitty-Cat is a full-grown lion. Morticia believes the doctor's skittishness around Kitty is entirely due to a lack of self-confidence. She therefore makes it her mission to have others in the family feign ailments so the doctor can have a series of examinations followed by ego-boosting miraculous recoveries, but the poor guy just wants out. Quotes

Morticia Frump Addams: Darling, why don't I cable the white hunter and tell him to expect us?
Gomez Addams: Excellent idea, my dear. Tell him: accommodations for seven people, one lion, one alligator, one octopus and one spider. Better forget the spider. I like to travel light.

I'm Dickens, He's Fester
29 May 2016 | by (Argentina) – See all my reviews

3 years after "I'm Dickens, He's Fenster" was canceled, John Astin (Dickens) and Marty Ingels (Fenster) are reunited on "The Addams Family". Ingels plays a nervous veterinarian who the Addams call on to investigate when Kitty Kat (their lion) seems to have no appetite.

They mistake Ingels' fear of the lion for a lack of confidence in himself and decide to fake some illnesses in order that the doctor can "cure" them and regain his confidence.

Ingels is pretty funny as the Addams new visitor and even though he and Astin don't really get an opportunity to do much together, its still nice to see the old co-stars reunited.

No Pugsley or Wednesday in this episode, but we do see Mama and Cousin Itt along with Fester, Lurch, Morticia and Gomez.
