When Malloy and Reed receive the call of the kidnapping, it is dry and midday, but when they arrive at the residence, it is early evening and the streets are wet from rain. Then after they clear the scene, it is late afternoon and the streets are dry again.
At about the 17 minute mark, when Adam-12 pulls up behind the hijacked truck, there is a black C2 Corvette in the left lane in the long shots. In the close shots, it's a sedan. Every cut back and forth, the cars change.
Following a car chase then a foot race, Officer Reed catches Mr. Bannister and apprehends him for kidnapping. But, instead of reading his Rights he actually encourages Mr. Bannister to keep talking.
When Bannister starts spilling his guts to Reed after the foot chase, his admission without a rights advisement is referred to as an "excited utterance" which is legally admissible in court. Reed could allow him to continue until Bannister pauses then he should have stopped him to read his Miranda rights. Reed incorrectly encouraged him to continue without a rights advisement so anything he said after that point would be inadmissible in court.
While chasing the car at the end of the show, there are 2 vehicles on the road when they come off of the railroad tracks. When the shot angle changes, the 2 cars are gone.
At the end of the show when the car they are chasing stops, the driver gets out and starts running. After he gets out, you can clearly see that the purple car is still in gear and begins rolling forward. When "Malloy" gets in the car, he doesn't stop the car, he just is seen sitting with the baby.
The first time Reed sees the gun, he should have drawn his weapon while simultaneously notifying Malloy of it's presence. Not open the door of the passenger compartment with gun holstered telling the hijacker to step out.
