Quotes

Sinoda: You disapprove of beauty?
Adam Adamant: Shall we say that I don't make it a fetish?
Sinoda: Beauty is not a fetish, it is the sublime truth.
Adam Adamant: It is also only in the eye of the beholder.
Sinoda: That is a feeble excuse to justify ugliness.
Adam Adamant: But ugliness and beauty need no justification. Without one, how could we recognize the other?
Sinoda: I disagree. Beauty is a form of genius. It's higher indeed than genius...
Adam Adamant: As it needs no explanation.
Sinoda: I see you know your Oscar Wilde.
Adam Adamant: Personally.
