Storyline

On his way to the premiere of his latest action movie, "Slow Torture", producer Peter Dragon accidentally picks up a hooker, Wendy Ward. Afterwards it becomes clear that the film is a disaster and Wendy is the only one who honestly tells Peter what's wrong with it. So, he takes her in and asks her to read a pile of scripts he has just purchased. She picks out the only good one: "Beverly Hills Gunclub". Written by The TV Archaeologist

Trivia

In Chris Thompson's first draft, the "Slow Torture" premiere was to be much more star studded: Kurt Russell was tentatively written in as the star of Peter Dragon's picture (Goldie Hawn was referenced in dialog). For the female lead, Thompson wanted a (at the time) recent mother like Uma Thurman or Jada Pinkett Smith who would then get into a discussion about breast feeding with Dragon. Instead of Keanu Reeves, Arnold Schwarzenegger was to be fondled in the theater by Wendy Ward and afterward Matt Damon and Cameron Diaz were to criticize the film, leading Wendy to put down Diaz by mentioning her famous Jiz in her hair scene. Quotes

Peter Dragon: Don't talk about the music. Everybody knows, when your friends don't like your movie and they can't think of anything nice to say they talk about the music.
