Another great episode from the first season!
6 April 2007 | by (Lancaster, Pennsylvania) – See all my reviews

"Iso Tank" has Eddy experimenting with the therapeutic benefits of an isolation tank. While not in the tank, Eddy and Patsy disrupt Saffy's work on a DNA project. Saffy and her schoolmates are getting ready for the DNA presentation for her school's open day, and she makes it clear that her mother is not welcome to come. Eddy threatens to adopt a Romanian baby if she can't come, and asks Bubble to arrange for an adoption. Bubble had been sent to an occupational hypnotist, and her character is professional, organized, and responsible in this episode. Edina, Patsy, and Mrs. M. attend the DNA presentation, which gets slightly disrupted when Patsy has a snogging session with the school's dean. The entire presentation comes to a halt when the Romanian babies begin to arrive. This episode has a twist ending. "Iso Tank" introduces Saffy's friend, Sarah, who will later be known to Eddy as "Titicaca." Melanie Jessop plays a huffy secretary, and would later return in "Small Opening" as a policewoman. In this episode Eddy reminds the school's dean, a former schoolmate of hers, that her name is Edwina. It is not exactly known when Eddy changed her name from Edwina to Edina.
