What I know now about Marilyn isn't only her death (dvd)
leplatypus27 April 2012
For a long time, Marilyn was for me more a corpse than an actress because her death was more famous than her career. This TV black and white documentary about Marilyn is straightforward and well done. It sums up well her dream to become recognized for something inside her but also her fragility with her family, husbands and drugs. Even the Kennedys are mentioned. Here, I understand that the real turn-point of her career was her miscarriage because she was never the same after. Sure it's not a tabloid and things aren't explained at length, but at least, secrets aren't kept in the closet. To be thorough, the show was put as extra on the 2 DVD set of "SLIH".
