After B.A. is seriously wounded in a firefight and has lost a lot of blood, the team decides to hole up in a little town called Bad Rock. They seek the aid of an attractive female doctor, but she calls the sheriff, who immediately arrests Hannibal and Face. Amy, meanwhile, retrieves Murdock from the V.A. hospital since he's got the same rare blood type as B.A. so the doctor can perform a transfusion. Complicating matters is a motorcycle gang that plans to destroy the town since the sheriff has imprisoned their leader. And, of course, the M.P.'s are on the way when the army discovers the A-Team has been captured. Written by R. Bernard Ment

Did You Know?

In order to get out of jail, Hannibal uses the exact same trick as Jim Rockford did in the Rockford Files episode: "drought at indianhead river". Both series were produced by Stephen J. Canell. See more »

The doctor said she needed AB negative blood for BA. He does not need to receive blood from someone who is AB negative. He can receive from A negative, B negative, O negative or of course AB negative. This should be easier to locate than just searching for one blood type. See more »

[Murdoch is giving a direct blood transfusion to B.A, who is squirming]
Hannibal: B.A., just relax.
B.A. Baracus: I told you guys for the last time. I don't want this sucker's blood in me. It's going to make me crazy like him.
Murdock: No, it's not going to make you crazy, it'll make you mellow. You can even room with me at the V.A. I'll have them bring in an extra bunk and we can sit together and watch the walls melt.
B.A. Baracus: Hannibal!

No B-Team
26 August 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Plot; An emergency stop in a small town to get medical help for a wounded B.A. gets the A-Team in hot water with the local sheriff. But with an outlaw biker gang on their way to town to bust their leader out of jail, the sheriff has no choice but to team up with the boys and dig in for a standoff.

A childhood favorite, but one I haven't revisited in nearly a decade. Shame on me, because I was reminded what a fun series this is, with or without nostalgia. Like so many such 80s shows, it's straight formula and demands absolute nothing from you, and what's wrong with that? The cast really make it though, especially Dwight Schultz as Murdoch. Sure Peppard was the lead and Mr. T the breakout star, but it's Schultz as "Howling Mad" Murdoch that steals absolutely every scene and gives a tour de force performance.
