Eric is about as lost as this show is in this episode.
They try and go back to the 'old' formula of the characters helping people in the community, but that storyline is weak to say the least, not helped by the ever annoying Lucy's involvement.
And there's the normal helping of boy/girl "do they like me like me?" drama, none of which is overly interesting.
The only plus point is Rachel Blanchard's character knocking Lucy down from her self positioned pedestal.
There is also what seems to be the now compulsory Eric and Ruthie end scene because the writers know that's the only dynamic that's guaranteed to still be a certainty of quality right now.
How art the mighty show fallen.
