Guilty Of Treason

A young Army officer is accused of treason, more exactly accused of having given top secret documents to a foreign power. In the first scene, we actually see him taking advantage of the accidental death - heart attack - of his commanding officer, a general, and then realizing that the same general had the famous secret document right on his desk. That's all we, the audience, see. Anda few minutes later, we learn that the petty officer is behind bars for treason. His girl friend hires Bailey to find out what went wrong with her fiancé. So he begins his investigation, as any regular private eye will do in his place. But the prisoner, after the gumshoe visit to jail, commits suicide by hanging himself. Stu won't stop his inquest, on the contrary...He will focus on the girl who hired him, because it seems that she lied to him, according to what the prisoner said before taking his own life.
