Storyline

While agents Tom Baldwin and Diana Skouris are still clueless about what happened to the returnees and why some of them are changed, another one of The 4400 starts having weird behavior. It's ordinary Carl Morrissey, who got his job on the seafood department of a supermarket back. When he notices how much Bradley Park has pauperized since his teenage years, he gets an irresistible urge to clean up the park and give it back to society. With an extraordinary strength and a feeling of invincibility, he starts cleaning up graffiti and kicking the scum out. Written by Arnoud Tiele (imdb@tiele.nl)

The New and Improved Carl Morrissey
16 June 2012 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

In this episode we continue to discover about the special powers of the 4400.

In the subplot we get to meet one more of the 4400, Carl Morissey, who wants to use his powers to make the neighborhood the clean and safe place that it was when he proposed to his wife. This is a very simple story, and a bit predictable. But it was greatly done with the wonderful acting of David Eigenberg. And while the ending was kind of cheesy, it didn't ruin it for me plus it was necessary to show that it i possible that they all have a purpose in their return back to earth and that Carl's mission was accomplished even with his death.

For the most part this episode was just a preview for us that there are bigger things to come.

I like Lily and Richard getting together, they seem to have a great chemistry.

And I am very interested to see what will happen with Diana taking Maia to live with her
