Trivia

In a closing scene of the Season 2 Finale, "Mommy's Bosses," Dr. Kevin Burkhoff, played by Jeffrey Combs is shown preparing to inject himself with a dose of "promycin," appearing as a fluorescent yellow/green serum. This echoes a scene from Re-Animator, where Herbert West, also played by Jeffrey Combs, is caught injecting himself with a similar-looking substance to keep his "mind sharp." See more »

Quotes

Maia Rutledge: Nothing's over. It's just starting.
Diana Skouris: Sweetie, what are you talking about? What's started?
Maia Rutledge: The war.

Mommy's Bosses (#2.12)
18 June 2012 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

A great season finale. We have everything in here, great acting, great storyline, wrapping up of some stories from the second season and a preview for more to come in the third.

Right in the beginning we get reminded how Maia said that "mommy's bosses will be punished for betraying us" and from there on we see the agents fighting to save the 4400 and find out how the disease started. I really like Kevin's character, he has so much potential and is also very well portrayed by Jeffrey Combs.

And at the end we see Kyle going to jail to confess, Maia telling us that the war has just begun, Isabella suddenly being all grown up and JC looking like a "real" Jesus Christ with hair and all, alive on some beach. Can't wait to see what it is all about!
