The Loud Solomon Family: A Dickumentary (2000)

(2000-2001) Year five of the Earth mission by a quartet of alien explorers trying to figure out the human experience securely hidden in their human skins. John Lithgow is their High Commander, who poses as a professor in a third rate university, Kristen Johnston their tough guy Lieutenant reborn as a beautiful young woman, French Stewart is their communications officer, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt the elder statesman and intelligence expert stuck in the hormonally raging body of an adolescent boy. Jane Curtin and Wayne Knight co-star and William Shatner has a recurring role as The Big Giant Head. Woefully clueless about the social currency of contemporary America, they comes off as a cross between The Coneheads and Mork from Ork. The farcical sitcom was created by Bonnie and Terry Turner (That 70s Show). Digipak box set.
