Bill's mother arrives. She's a horror. (She's Liz Smith, so brilliantly done but a ghastly character). Why Bill & Ben don't tell her off for her smoking in their house, nicking their bedroom, interfering &c., I don't know. What's she going to do to them? Anyway, they seem to want to just take it. At least for now...
The biker turns up again and this time he & Bill speak face to face, but she still doesn't get to know his name.
Ben's karaoke and its effect on the kids - well, Jenny - is brilliant, as is the game Rona & Bill play in the bakery where the next male customer will be their date for the night & the experience will be described by whatever it is they buy (sticky bun!)
It's another good episode, but they should tell Bette to not be such a bad guest!
