Quotes

James Heller: Maybe you should go home.
Erin Driscoll: I'm afraid to.
[she cries]
James Heller: [Long pause] When my wife Susan died, I didn't deal with it at all. Actually, I went to work the next day. I remember thinking to myself, "That's life. Quit feeling sorry for yourself. Get over it, get on with it". A few weeks later, I answered a call from an old friend of Susan's who did not know she had died.
[pause]
James Heller: And when I heard myself saying "Susan has passed away", when I actually said those words, it hit me. All the pain I was trying ...

Michelle's Back

Jack and Paul try to find information about Marwan at McLennan-Forster, whose employees try to prevent any incriminating evidence from being found. They detonate an electromagnetic pulse bomb causing a blackout spanning several blocks. Paul finds evidence of their involvement and prints it out but is captured by McLennan-Forster. However Paul is able to hide the evidence beforehand as McLennan-Forster attempt to beat it out of him. Driscoll struggles with her leadership of CTU due to her daughter's suicide and steps down. Tony takes over provisionally while Heller contacts Division for a more permanent replacement, much to the dismay of Curtis. Later Michelle Dessler, Tony's former wife arrives from Division to take over permanently.

In summary, here the events that happened during that hour:

1.Erin Driscoll steps down as director of CTU and gives access codes to Tony Almeida.

2.Sarah tells Tony that Driscoll's replacement arrived: Michelle Dessler. Tony is shocked and tells Heller he used to be married to her.

3.Jack Bauer tells Paul Raines they have to get to McLennen-Foster. Paul agrees to go with him. McLennen and Conlon fear that CTU will find out the truth by looking the deleted files of Marwan's activities there and that they helped terrorist acquire arms(weapons). Paul finds a encrypted file; Jack orders him to print it. Conlon orders his henchmen not to let Jack Bauer, the CTU agent, find it.

4.Jack Bauer finds a room with a huge EMP Bomb. Jack tries to stop the doors from closing on the bomb so that it can't explode but it's no use. He screams as the bomb explodes in flashes of light. The area outside McLennen-Forster blackout in Los Angeles.

After the death of her unstable daughter,Erin steps down as CTU head and she is replaced Tony Almeida.Later,we find out that by Michelle Dressler,Tony's former wife,is going to take over CTU provisionally.Tension rises as there is tension between Michelle and Tony on the personal level aside from the fact that CTU is on a mission of capturing a terrorist group who are to do some damage in the world.

It is good to have Michelle, played by Reiko Ayelsworth, back as she happens to be one of my favorite characters of 24.

Welcome back,Michelle!!!!
