Trivia
While the government representatives are arguing about who is in charge, someone points out that with President Palmer there, they "are in good hands." This is probably a nod to actor
Dennis Haysbert's ads with Allstate, the "good hands" people.

This is another one of those episodes with a million things happening. It keeps things entertaining, that's for sure!
Other than the fact that a missile with a nuclear weapon has been fired and could hit any city in the United States in the next three hours, and that the man responsible has escaped custody for the 46th time in this story, everything is going great in America.
Of course, since the missile was fired from Iowa, it could have already landed in Chicago killing millions but that isn't feasible for two reasons: 1 - only the East and West coasts matter to Hollywood; 2 - there is still three weeks left in the series, so they can't stop the bomb for another couple of weeks......but it's fun to watch anyway.
We also get the stories about the President trying to get some backbone; Richard Heller's wacko son about to be interrogated again, and then Michelle and Tony hooking back up and agreeing that being together is more important than working for C.T.U. But then Tony gets taken hostage by a female hostile, who also kills Agent Castle. Man, this C.T.U. is no place for romances; relationship-wise, everyone is going to wind up like Chole or Edgar!
