Tom and Russell

"The Dreaded Return of Russell Buckins" is the twelfth episode of the third season of 21 Jump Street. The Jump Street program gets exposed after Officer Thomas Hanson's friend,Russell Buckins writes an article about it on a magazine. That leads to Tom Hanson's suspension from duty. Also,he now looks for his friend to talk about it and how the repair the damage that has been done.

The episode was a good one as we get to know the friendship between Tom and Russell. We get to learn about both characters with the latter being somewhat depressed as the love of his life - Louise - is arranged to get married soon with someone well off and the former giving some sort of introspection on his career as a police. The flashbacks were also effective in the story.Added to that,we also witness some changes in the 21 Jump Street program wherein advances were made to somehow contradict on what was written in the article. In the end,one would really be delighted with the episode if one is a Johnny Depp fan as Hanson was the only crew central to the story with the remainder of the cast barely playing supporting roles in it.
