*** This review may contain spoilers ***

Research and Destroy is the thirteenth episode of the fourth season of 21 Jump Street.

The storyline involves 21 Jump Street crew that are sent to make an investigation of a college chemistry laboratory that is suspected of manufacturing new designer drugs. All officers are involved in doing their own task such as Officer Judith Hoffs being with the students that got her being asked for a date,Officer Thomas Hanson trying to look like a nerd student,Officer Nguyen Ioki befriending a Chinese dissident that is being ratted out as a student and someone who is working for the Chinese government. That is just the beginning and no need to state more of the events.

Too bad that this particular episode tries to involve everyone as main characters but the screenplay falters as it is written all over the place and lacks focus. It would be better if they just stuck to the same formula of having each character carrying the storyline in each episode so that it does not lose direction and sense in the story.
