Hanson And Penhall For Another Adventure
23 March 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

"My Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades" which interestingly happens to be the title of one of my favorite songs back in the 1980's by Timbuk, presents another adventure together by Officer Tom Hanson and Officer Doug Penhall. Both officers go undercover to investigate the rape and murder of a 16-year old female student in a preppie high school.

As they go through their investigation, both try to adjust inside in the school of wealthy kids as they themselves try to act one.We get to see Hanson try to be cocky initially to have less difficult time adjusting to "his people" but fail miserably in the end.Surprisingly,Penhall was more at ease with the rich kids. It was also funny to see Officer Harry Truman Ioki as the chauffeur to the "rich" undercover kids. LOL

The episode ended with a shootout which definitely would remind us of how many 80's shows present shootouts in a manner that they aren't as violent while this review is being written.Nice to see Depp and DeLuise in another entertaining show as Hanson and Penhall respectively as well as Dustin Nguyen as steal a few scenes as Ioki. Also,it was a delight to see Josh Brolin to guest on the show.
