Hanson And Penhall Head To El Salvador
28 May 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

La Bizca is the nineteenth episode of the fourth season of 21 Jump Street.

In it,we get to witness another partnership between Officers Thomas Hanson and Douglas Penhall. Both go to El Salvador to look for Doug's missing wife,Marta.Instead they find themselves back in the States with her nephew to be raised by Doug and discover that Marta died due to a political turmoil in the country.

This was one of the better episodes that presents Officers Tom Hanson and Doug Penhall investigating as partners. After being in Florida in the previous episode,we now get to see them in El Salvador and undergo different experiences while looking for Marta. This is definitely one of the most-action packed episode as both go through explosions, lots of escape from authorities, get tortured in prison and gets involved with the CIA. I felt that it has become more complex in the sense that both Tom and Doug become CIA agents themselves instead of police officers handling juvenile cases. While it does not lack entertainment and it was joy to watch,I just felt that the writers have gone overboard from being realistic as compared to the other episodes.
