Fake Kidnapping
6 April 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In the Custody of a Clown is the first episode of the second season of 21 Jump Street. The premise of the story have the police officers of the crew investigate a relative who is probably responsible for a kidnapping of a child. That happens to be the grandfather. As the episode proceeds,it was apparent that it was a fraud kidnapping as child wanted to get away from his parents who are endlessly feuding.

This was somewhat a disappointment. There were a lot of awkward scenes such as Officer Hanson wearing a dress like a woman. That was really something considering Johnny Depp looked weird on it.Also,we get to see the screw involvement of corrupting an evidence on the kidnapping.Apparently, the theme was about the effect of parents on the brink of a divorce to a teen-ager but I think that the writing could have been handled better instead of a having a plot that involves fake kidnapping.
