Holly Robinson Gets Featured

Equal Protection is the eleventh episode of the final season of 21 Jump Street.

The storyline is centered on Officer Judith Hoffs, the oldest remaining character of the show.Judy and her superior,Captain Adam Fuller,go together on investigating a group of white police officers who are responsible for beating and harassing black teen-age students.Judy becomes a witness to two of the suspected officers as they harass three black children that she personally know. She asked them to testify for her but the group of police officers got to know it beforehand that they terrified them even before they planned to testify.

No more Johnny Deep.No more Dustin Nguyen.Peter DeLuise appeared in his final episode previously. Now,it is all up to Holly Robinson to carry the biggest weight of maintaining the show's longevity and popularity.Too bad that it is too much for her considering the previous actors mentioned are severely missed. Also, the story that she once again got involved with has become somewhat repetitive on her part considering that the writers have made similar themes and story lines in the past. But despite of it,it was still a better show compared when the other new cast members are featured primarily in the episode. So one should not put it aside that Holly Robinson is also a reason why 21 Jump Street remains a memorable 80's show that was later re-made into two movies during the 2010's.
