Officer Joey Penhall Joins Jump Street Crew
2 June 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

"Brothers" is the sixth episode of the final season of 21 Jump Street.

In the episode,we get to see Officer Joey Penhall join the Jump Street Organization. He is the estranged younger brother of Officer Douglas Penhall. Joey and Doug are estranged to one another and unexpectedly joined to work together to investigate a religious cult.

Doug has a strained reunion with his estranged younger brother Joey when Joey is assigned to the Jump St. team. Doug comes to his aid after Joey is brainwashed into joining a religious cult he was investigating. The said cult was said to be involved in illegal activities.Things become complicated when the leader falls in love with Doug and she sort of brainwashed him when he goes undercover in it.

The show introduced another character in Officer Joey but it does not level with the previous characters that have been written off the show with no explanation.Interestingly, the real-life brother of Peter DeLuise, who portrays Doug,Michael DeLuise, portrays the estranged brother,Joey. But even that complications of the siblings created by the writers does not make the show more compelling as compared to the previous seasons.
