Goofs

The short amount of time between Ronnie Seebok's trial and execution would be unrealistic in most U.S. states. Given appeals, motions, and other legal requirements, most death row inmates wait years, if not decades, to be executed. In contrast, it is implied that Seebok is executed just a few months after his conviction. See more »

Hanson Becomes Witness To An Execution
28 May 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

2245 is the sixteenth episode of the fourth season of 21 Jump Street.

The story of the episode presents Officer Thomas Hanson inside prison as he tries to convince a juvenile inmate on death row named Ronnie Seebok to appear in film intended to help teen-agers to stay way from crime and pursuing criminal activities. Also,Officer Hanson was asked to become a witness to Seebok's execution.

This was definitely one of the best episodes of the show not only in the fourth season but throughout the show's existence.Josh Richman, who portrayed Seebok, provided an unforgettable performance that was definitely interesting, compelling and very memorable to the viewers of the episode. The flashback scenes in episodes that he appeared was done to perfection as well as his acting performance provided the clear understanding of Seebok's psyche to the viewers on why he was able to commit crimes particularly murder. In addition to Richman,Rosie Perez, who portrayed his girlfriend, also provided a great complimentary performance as well. Finally, the emotions exhibited by Johnny Depp, who is Officer Tom Hanson, was just as perfect especially when he witnessed Seebok's execution.

Overall, this is a sad episode that will be in memory of the show's fans and it will provide the viewers an opinion on the death penalty.
