Trivia

The script that Terry Nation turned in was severely under-length. Script editor Chris Boucher had to fill the script out considerably to make sure it could take up a full episode. One of his editions was the character of Tyce. The scene where Blake breaks Sarkoff's records was also added to pad the episode out. See more »

A very good Bounty
27 May 2008 | by See all my reviews

In "Bounty" Blake sets out to convince the exiled former president of the planet Lindor, Sarkoff, to return to a leadership role before the Federation takes control of Lindor. Meanwhile The Liberator is taken over by bounty hunters called The Amagons.

"Bounty" is a well-paced and exciting Blake's 7 episode which features an interesting and exciting plot that is far removed from the filler of some season one episodes. T.P. McKenna is a superb guest star as Sarkoff and the dialogue between him and Blake as well as Cally. The discussion of the Federation provides further perspective on their actions and moves the overall story of the series forward. Without a strong script this episode could have been awful but it works excellently.
