Storyline

"Tales from the Crisper": Junior Asparagus, after watching a scary Frankencelery movie, is afraid to go to sleep; he gets help from Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber, who teach him that God is bigger than anything he might be afraid of. "Daniel and the Lion's Den": Daniel becomes King Darius' trusted advisor, but some jealous scallions throw Daniel into the lion's den. Daniel realizes that God's love will always protect him. The Veggies Have Arrived!

This 1994 video short was the first official Veggie Tales video. It's packed with laughs and computer animation, and is once again, "kid friendly, adult enthused," but it isn't the best Veggie Tales. They tend to get better as they go along. (though Lyle the Friendly Viking and King George and his Ducky were let downs.) A definite muste see, even must own for adults. Hey, I own all of them, and I never get tired of limbless vegetables with morals. Would you? If you just answered yes..."Be quiet and eat your veggies!" Because I answer no, I would never get tired of them. Here's to Big Ideas, who had the strategy of all strategies: disguised Christian morals in widely popular and succesful shows...
