I saw this film at the 2006 Palm Springs International Film Festival. This is the story of a 30 year old salesman living in the big city of Delhi who discovers he can no longer tolerate the ever present noise of a major metropolis and fears he will lose his mind so he takes a little hiatus from life in the city to go back to the village where he grew up in his search for some inner and outer peace. This is Director Jahar Kanungo's first feature film after a career of documentaries and this film does have the feel of a documentary. Kanungo might be better off sticking with documentaries. This story has a promising premise but it goes nowhere. The characters are one-dimensional and boring and the acting is horrible. The lead actress isn't too bad but the lead actor may as well have been someone the director randomly picked from the street to be the lead in his movie. I would give this a 4.5 out of scale of 10 and not recommend it.
