Turner Sports President, Dr. Harvey Schiller recently removed Eric Bischoff as the President of WCW. A move that has swayed the balance of power back to WCW in the war with the nWo. In the midst of all of the chaos with Bischoff's ousting, a main event of epic proportions was named for the upcoming WCW Uncensored 1997 event. A three team battle royal elimination match. Three teams with three different agendas and goals. Team WCW consists of Lex Luger, The Giant, and The Steiner Brothers. If Team WCW wins, the nWo must return all of the WCW Championships they have and will be forced off of WCW Television for 18 months. Team Piper consists of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and 4 Horsemen members: Jeff Jarrett, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, and Jeff Jarrett. If Team Piper wins, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper gets Hollywood Hogan in a cage match. Team nWo consists of Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Randy "Macho Man" Savage. If Team nWo wins, the nWo gets the right to challenge for any WCW Championship ... Written by MRR

User Reviews

The one with surprisingly good main event
17 February 2014 | by (Czech Republic) – See all my reviews

1. WCW U.S. Heavyweight Title Match: Dean Malenko Vs. Champ-Eddie Guerrero - Match was good. Eddie Rocks, shame that Malenko won U.S. Title (his biggest reign in WCW) 7.5/10

2. Psychosis Vs. Ultimate Dragon - These two wrestlers were on the TOP 8/10

3. Martial Arts Match: Technically hardly beaten Chris Kanyon (Mortis) Vs. The most protected and hated Glacier - Poor Kanyon had to job to this idiot Glacier, that no one cares about. BLAH! 3/10

4. Strap Match: Buff Bagwell Vs. Scotty Riggs - Long and nothing special. Bagwell and Riggs are average performers. Heel won, huh. 6/10

5. Public Enemy Vs. Harlem Heat - Tornado match - ordinary bout. 6.5/10

6. WCW World Television Title Match: Rey Mysterio Jr. Vs. Champ-Prince Iaukea - Good but maybe a bit too long. 8/10

7. Three Team Match: Piper/Jeff Jarrett/Chris Benoit/Steve Mcmichael Vs. Hogan/Nash/Hall/Macho Vs. Scott Steiner/Lex Luger/Giant - Maybe you'll be surprised but that was a good main event!! Sting's appearance and final turn on NWO was breathtaking. Biggest crowd reaction from the moment that NWO was created. 9/10
