this had a theatrical release? THIS LIFELESS TRASH?!?!
28 March 2015 | by (Toronto) – See all my reviews

i'm just amazed at how people these days put ugly/pointless trash like this out in theaters. this is just a whole other level of disgrace! dear sweet Jesus, where to begin? well, let's start with the animation, the god damn animation. it looks like sh!t! the graphics are a joke, the backgrounds are bland, the character design suck, the colors are a little too bright and then there's the character animation.... i'm all outta words. the movements are so robotic and unnatural, you can't help but feel freaked out. and the story of the movie focuses on a bunch of crayons coming to life at night when the kid goes to bed (damn, does that sound familiar? *cough*Toy Story*cough*) and when the city starts losing colors, they all go to get the colors back or some nonsensical bulls@#t like that. don't get me wrong, i'm not against people coming up with their original idea on a movie. for the most part, it's a pretty good idea. but nothing in this movie screams original and the concept itself is just stupid as hell. i mean, for the love of god: who the hell would wanna watch a movie about magical talking crayons? even my 5 year old cousin admitted this thing sounds dumb as hell. and don't get me started on the plot, cause honestly the plot.... oh my god! the trailer like spoils almost half the movie so i knew exactly what was gonna happen throughout the whole movie and it happened just like i predicted. that's epic marketing fail! and none of the characters... you just don't give a f@#k about them! these are some of the most pointless characters i've seen in an animated movie since Foodfight! or Swan Princess 5, it's terrible. they're just so underdeveloped and barely have any personalities, so why the hell should you care? then comes the voice acting... lord have mercy! the voice acting in this thing is just so atrocious! you could totally tell everybody sounds completely bored, like they took sleeping pills just before they delivered the lines. Wayne Brady keeps ruining his career, Sean Astin's there just to get his paycheck, Owen Wilson sounds bored outta his mind and Christina Ricci... why Christina? why?

guys, there's nothing else to say about The Hero of Color City cause it's just as bad as people make it out to be. the animation's ugly, the concept's stupid, the story's boring, the characters suck, the voice acting's the worst of all... that's it, i'm done talking about this sh!t. i'm done! i'm just glad i didn't spend my money on this stinker when it was still out in theaters.
