Dragonball meets Captain Tsubasa
9 December 2013 | by (Peru) – See all my reviews

I used to watch this when I was a kid. Unlike other gaming and sports anime and manga, this took place in a fantastic, being some kind of combination between the original Dragonball and Captain Tsubasa, with powers and anthropomorphized animals.

For all what I remember,"Dragon League" was fun to watch, and even when I didn't followed this show religiously as other anime series as "Saint Seiya", "Magic Knight Rayearth" or "Robotech" I still liked the story and characters from this show.

Even when "Dragon League" wasn't a life-changing experience for me, it was entertaining enough to be a decent anime series for kids, with a good dose of comedy and fantasy, without any kind of inappropriate content.

I think that if this was shown in USA it would have been rated TV-Y7 or even TV-Y.
