Impressive, considering it is Greenland's first short film
peefyn20 July 2015
Since this movie was made, many Greenlandic shorts has followed. You can see many of them compiled as bonus features on the Eskimo Weekend DVD. None of them manage to top this one. The plot is simple, a jealous man sits up at night and contemplates his wife's activities. He reaches some conclusions and acts on them. The movie is most of all funny. Despite his shortcomings, the man is quite charming. At the same time, the movie manages to touch upon many parts of the Greenlandic society. The transition into a modern society, the alcohol, the new gender roles, etc.

Inuk Silis Hoegh would go on to direct the brilliant documentary about Sume, "Sume - Mumisitsinerup Nipaa".
