Who is Colleen McGuinness
10 December 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Striving director here, now in LOVE with Colleen McGuiness! I got a copy of For Mature Audiences Only from my TA because of a short project I'm working on, and now I am totally intimidated. THIS SHORT IS AMAZING. The story is really well written - that perfect blend of hysterical and sentimental - and it's shot perfectly. (Does anyone know what kind of camera/stock it was shot on? I loved the various looks of it!)

Without giving too much away, I can definitely say that this is a story you've never seen on film before - trust me! I especially loved the fantasy sequence at the beginning - dead on (not to mention, hot!) - and how the guys react to the whole thing. I wish more women directors were making funny movies about the stuff we go through!

ROCK ON COLLEEN MCGUINNESS! This is definitely a film and a director to WATCH!
