I was just in Spartan territory for the festival last week, and I was lucky to procure some of the last available tickets for "Four Eyed Monters." This short, "Us," played before it, and I have to say that this emotionally honest film really blew me away. I had never heard of the actors before because I guess they're both from New Zealand, but I thought they were both incredibly talented. The actress delivers an amazing range for such a short film, and the cinematography was beautifully done. It's a story that a lot of audience members will definitely be able to relate to. I hope we see more from this director. Does anyone know anything about him? What's he been up to since "Us" and what's he doing next? Peace.
