Avid Merrion's XXXmas Special
23 January 2006 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Apart from the not great new impression of Marilyn Manson (I preferred the old one) this is another fantastic Bo' Selecta! Christmas special. This was filmed in America, and later this would turn into the great TV series, Bo! in the USA. Leigh Francis brought back old favourites, Avid Merrion, The Bear, Craig David, Mel B, Michael Jackson, Keith Lemmon and Corey Haim the film lover (from A Bear's Tail), oh, and he also brought his wife/sister from A Bear's Tail, Sacha (Barunka O'Shaughnessy). He also introduced fantastic new characters including the great Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Huxtable from The Cosby Show, the slutty Pamela Anderson, Hurley and Charlie in 'Lost', and Tit Head, a member of Semen Street, with Cocknose. With guest stars Holly Valance, Corey Feldman, Verne Troyer (Mini Me from Austin Powers), Brigette Nielson, the real Mel B, Smack the Pony's Doon MacKichan, Jon Snow, Caprice Bourret, Shannen Dogherty, Daryl Hannah and Nancy Sorrell. Avid Merrion was number 27 on The World's Greatest Comedy Characters. Very good!
