A two-part picture drama which while not melodramatic, its story is a strong one. There are two or three thrilling scenes, one of which might be termed an unusual "punch." The satisfactory part of this plot is in the last scenes, where a disreputable father is brought to a realization of his neglect and selfishness, which causes the death of his own child. While this story is considerably morbid, its intensity holds close attention. - The Moving Picture World, November 28, 1914
