finally, some truth in the "land of truth and justice"
16 July 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

it's about time something more honest was made about the 400+ years crimes against humanity that define "America"

myth: America the land of the free, the home of the brave, a mecca for immigrants where the American dream is an inalienable tradition.

truth: stealing a horse got you hung but killing a Chinaman was no crime.

question: can non-violence, peace, love redemption and forgiveness transform this violent lawless, wild west into a more peaceful, moral and enlightened America?

answer: no. America is as racist and hateful of non-whites since its inception when "founded" America (a place inhabited by millions of Native Indians) who they annihilated and forced enslaved blacks to work under horrific conditions.

1854: the state of California declared the Chinese as non people.

1857: the united state government passed the dred scott decision, denying equal justice and citizenship to people of color, allowing them to be bought and sold as merchandise.

1882: the united states government passed the Chinese exclusion act prohibiting the Chinese from citizenship and entering the united states until 1943.

ps lol! at all those 1/10 votes - i'm sure they're voted by white "gentlemen"
