This short animation is about a spider that just hatched. She embarks on a quest to look for her mother.
"Little Miss Spider" is a sweet animation. Despite it being only two minutes long, it is filled with love and sweetness. The characters are cute, even the bad characters are not scary. The animations are smooth and nicely done. Scenes are bright with lots of contrasting colours, meaning that it will capture the attention of young children. The story is simple, told in rhyming sentences. The ending is sweet and is full of love. It helps children to feel safe and loved.
The narrator is Susan Sarandon, and I wonder how the filmmakers managed to get a big name to do this seemingly non-profit project.
