  • Continuity: The truck that the American soldier has riddled on the way to the prison has no holes when arrives.

  • Anachronisms: During the final firefight, American soldiers are seen using the M72 LAW antitank weapon. This weapon was phased out by the US military in the early 1980s and has since been replaced by the M136 AT4.

  • Factual errors: There are several instances of American soldiers being killed by pistol rounds, even those wearing body armor. In actuality the Kevlar body armor currently worn by American military forces is more than capable of stopping pistol rounds of various calibers, even without the extra armor plates.

  • Factual errors: Some Americans are seen firing their M16s on full automatic, when in fact the current version of the M16 only allows for 3-round bursts.

  • Factual errors: In the scene where the U.S. soldiers attack the wedding, one soldier is seen firing an M16A2 with an A1 upper receiver. There is no such weapon employed in the United States military.

  • Factual errors: In the scene where U.S. soldiers invade the Turkish HQ, the Special Operatives are seen using G36C's. U.S. military does not use this weapon.

  • Factual errors: The supposed Humvees seen being driven by the U.S. Soldiers are obvious souped-up civilian models with V-8 engine exhaust ports, most likely the Turkish equivalent of the American model. The U.S. military standard Humvee does not have V-8 engines and are much smaller than depicted in this film.

  • Factual errors: In two scenes Turkish military officers are seen using Beretta M92F, 9mm handguns. Little known fact that only the Turkish police and police special response units employ this weapon. The military has Kirikkale 9mm's.

  • Factual errors: Many errors in United States Military equipment, gear, procedures, uniforms and tactics.

  • Continuity: A Mercedes-Benz 200 is blown up in a scene. Before the explosions it is a Mercedes-Benz 200 W123, when it explodes, it changes into a W116, which is actually an S-Klasse.
