'Cedar Cove's' Bruce Boxleitner on being an antidote to 'The Following'

12 October 2013 1:30 PM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

Zap2it: You and "Cedar Cove's"  Barbara Niven worked together before; didn't you play a couple?

Bruce Boxleitner: We did this Western ("Mystery Woman: Wild West Mystery") and we were ex-tv stars, and I had a rinky-dink Wild West show, and she was my lady. Clint Lawson was my name, and I rode a big white horse named Blanco. [Barbara] would slap me then kiss me. This is our second time as a couple.

Zap2it: How do you describe, Bob, your character in this?

Bruce Boxleitner: He is an innkeeper. I developed a little back story for him. He did have a drinking problem. He is a good man. He grew up in this town with Peggy (Niven), and they have known each other all their lives. He loves his wife and his place, and he loves Cedar Cove. He is a very straightforward, hardworking person and loves his town. »
