'The Last Jedi's New Hope: Meet 'Star Wars' Breakout Kelly Marie Tran
Kelly Marie Tran grew up dreaming of Hogwarts, not Dagobah. In fact, when she got the script for Star Wars: The Last Jedi back in 2015, she had never seen a Star Wars movie - not even The Force Awakens, which hadn't yet come out. She still landed the most prominent new role in the latest entry to the galaxy-far-far-away franchise, playing maintenance-worked-turned-Resistance-hero Rose Tico. Along the way, she caught up on the saga. "I like A New Hope the best," she says, referring to the original 1977 movie. A San Diego

Happy Birthday, Miley Cyrus! Why We're Exceptionally Thankful for the 25-Year-Old Singer This Year
There's seven things we love about Thanksgiving this year... 1) Turkey, 2) mashed potatoes, 3) stuffing, 4) pie 5) wine, 6) more pie and 7) the fact that it falls on Miley Cyrus' 25th birthday. Yes, today the "Malibu" singer is ringing in a quarter of a century, and it makes sense that it would fall on Thanksgiving because we're exceptionally grateful for her this year. Why? Well, she's come quite a ways since her Hannah Montana days and even since twerking on Robin Thicke at the MTV VMAs...but even better than that, she's come full circle in giving us the best of all her worlds. From singing "The Climb" for the first time in six years to visiting the Radio Disney...

Looking Back at Miley Cyrus' Best Performance Outfits

Looking Back at Miley Cyrus' Best Performance Outfits
Miley Cyrus is officially 25 years young now, and her outfit choices have always exemplified that electric youth. When Cyrus first broke out as the foil to her performance alter-ego Hannah Montana, avid fans of the show saw a spunky teen pop sensation in tutu skirts and plaid minis with preppy tube socks. As the unwigged singer began to gain notoriety as herself, the Disney star traded her blonde wig for a platinum pixie cut and risqué threads, proving she had very much grown up. Needless to say, the star has expanded our fashion horizons during our tween, teen and adult years with effortless finesse. For the "Malibu" singer's birthday, we have put together some of her most golden looks to...

Which Miley Cyrus Are You? Take Our Handy Quiz

Which Miley Cyrus Are You? Take Our Handy Quiz
Tomorrow is Miley Cyrus' 25th birthday and not to be crass, but holy s--t she has lived a lot of lives in that quarter century. It's truly mind-boggling to think that just four years ago she wasn't even of legal drinking age (or legal something else age, at least in California if you know what we mean).  In the decade-ish that the singer has been in the public eye, the world has borne witness to so many Mileys. There was the Hannah Montana Miley, with her many wigs and aggressive highlights and penchant for sequins and very serious Southern drawl and absolutely no interest in anything that isn't PG.  There was the "Party in the USA" Miley, who was new to...

Miley Cyrus Compares Being Hannah Montana to Toddlers & Tiaras: "That's A Lot to Put on a Kid"

Miley Cyrus Compares Being Hannah Montana to Toddlers & Tiaras:
Under the makeup, wardrobe and wig, it was always Miley Cyrus.  More than a decade after her breakout role as the girl living the "best of both worlds," Hannah Montana, the songstress is reflecting on that stage of her life with a mix of gratitude and apprehension.  Now 24 years old, Cyrus acknowledges she carried quite the load as a child star. "I liked being in the Disney universe because I didn't know anything else. I knew that I was getting to live what I wanted to do. I got to do two things that I loved. I got to act at that time and I got to be funny and I got to wear a wig and that was awesome and I got to wear a lot of sparkly things, so that was cool," she recalled...

Mitchel Musso Isn't a Fan of His Old Hannah Montana Wardrobe
Fashion mishaps are often a part of growing up and luckily for most of us, we can keep the photo evidence under wraps.  For Mitchel Musso, it's a little bit different. The former Hannah Montana star took to Twitter to poke fun at his character's less-than-trendy wardrobe on the once popular Disney Channel show. "F--kin Diamond plaid, double collar, pants like wtf lookin motherf--ka and the shoes?" wrote the former teen star. "What in the actual f--k. Why they do me so dirty." Musso played the role of Oliver Oken, best friend to Miley Stewart (aka Miley Cyrus) and self-proclaimed "Smokin' Oken." Ironically, though, his outfits were far...

Watch All the Music Videos That Landed Miley Cyrus Vma Nominations Through the Years
Saying that Miley Cyrus has undergone a physical and professional transformation is a serious understatement.

While still starring on Hannah Montana — which sparked more than a handful of smash-hit albums — Cyrus released “7 Things,” a single with a peppy beat that was inspired by ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas. Since then, the singer has been churning out hit after hit, graduating from upbeat tunes to much more “grown-up” songs — a handful of which snagged her MTV Video Music Award nominations.

Ahead of her VMAs appearance to perform “Younger Now” this Sunday, we’re taking a look back at those videos, lauded by MTV and fans everywhere.

Inside the Biggest MTV Vma Controversies Over the Years

Inside the Biggest MTV Vma Controversies Over the Years
The MTV Video Music Awards are known for their shocking moments. One of the most shocking ones involved a pop princess with a foam finger. Many people were likely unable to look at one the same again shortly after watching Miley Cyrus' performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. At the time, the singer was starting to showcase a sexier, edgier persona following years of being known as Hannah Montana. After putting on a raunchy display onstage, during which she twerked against co-performer Robin Thicke while wearing a foam finger, there was no doubt Hannah Montana was gone. "For me, I wouldn't change a thing," Robin told E! News. "Miley and I had a blast. She's a...

Miley Cyrus's "Younger Now" Video Is Basically a Big Tribute to Elvis Presley

Miley Cyrus is going back to her roots. On Friday, the singer dropped the music video for her new single, "Younger Now," and it's full of nostalgia. Not only does she sing along with a puppet version of her younger self (yes, really), but she also impersonates one of her idols, Elvis Presley, who passed away 40 years ago this month. Aside from jamming out on the guitar and kissing an older woman, she also seems to poke fun at her Hannah Montana days by doing a hoedown-inspired dance in a 1950s sock-hop setting. Needless to say, we can't wait to see what the rest of her album will sound like!
