To avoid lying, just have a code of silence like everyone else. It seems that there is no such thing as a secret if more then one person knows! ...... so stop comparing yours! This movie explains why ' Thou shall not lie' didn't appear anywhere near the top ten commandments. Film Noir with a happy ending. This is not a "laugh out loud comedy" It is way better so.............Call it........ "A laugh in silence comedy" Not the most common movie premise since the opening scene made me realize that it was not a remake of Old Yeller. My applause to Sundance for exposing this for its genius interpretation of "If you judge people, you have no time to love them"
