Please stop giving this woman attention

This is the shorter(with a running time of 17 minutes) of the two
documentaries(well, in this regard, I can only use that term loosely)
on the DVD of 2005's The Amityville Horror. It consists of interviews,
stills and clips of the film(that it spoils, albeit it only refers to
the aspects of it where it sticks to what some people insist on
believing happened at that house in the early 70's. This mostly has
individuals who belong in that category, and is an incredibly
see-through sensationalist piece that seeks to remind audience members
of the case(and yes, six people being murdered is tragic... that
doesn't mean you need anything supernatural for it to happen) in an
obvious attempt to drum up attention for the remake. You want the
story? Watch the two episodes History's Mysteries did on it(if you can
tolerate the goofy reenactments). This goes through the motions, if
even that. And then there's who I refer to in my Summary... Lorraine
Warren. "Interpreter for the dead" is her credited title. I can barely
type that crap out. She even ends this by telling the camera that "the
best protection the Devil has is a skeptical public". Is that so? Well,
replace the word "Devil" with "powerhungry people who use religion to
enforce their selfish ideas upon the rest of the world" and the word
"sceptic" with "unquestioning"... yeah. I will take my chances with
your big red bogeyman, lady. I recommend this to those who swallow this
junk with ease. Everyone else, stay away. 4/10
