so cute and funny

oh. my. gosh. I couldn't believe what I was seeing on the Playhouse Disney when I turned my TV on one morning. I was like wow, that guy looks really familiar... and then he started singing and I knew it was John Tartaglia. I am a huge Broadway fan and know of John because he starred as Rod and Princton in Avenue Q. It was just so surreal seeing someone who really made it big in one of Broadway's most risqué shows now having a short on the Disney channel. Not that anything is wrong with that - he does a great job and if I were still in the Playhouse Disney average age range (pre-school) I would be so entertained by this show. Oh, who am I kidding, I actually went to the playhouse Disney site and watched the clips they had on there, and being a 19 year old I still laughed at them! This is a great show for kids and John does a job keeping kids entertained and teaches them everyday lessons, like sharing and patience.

Avenue Q connection

Johnny (aka John Tartaglia) was in the Broadway cast of Avenue Q. avenueq.com it's a hilarious Sesame Street-meets-real life (plus Gary Coleman) show.

I just found it funny that a guy who is on the Disney channel was in such a risqué Broadway show.

Not that there's anything at all wrong with that, I think both are entertaining in their own ways, I'v got kids, so they're big JatS fans, but now I won't be able to stop giggling thinking of Avenue Q.

With songs like "The Internet is for Porn", "Everyone's a little bit racist", "My Girlfriend (who lives in Canada)", and "If You Were Gay" playing in your head, it makes watching an innocent Disney show weird.
