Although it is obvious from the first few seconds this is being run backwards, I set this as a spoiler alert just-in-case. This short would be fine forward, but it having it move backward in time added nothing to the story. There are movies that use the time-line reversal type of technique to effect (the one that most comes to mind is Memento) but this director wasted his time in the editing room. I wonder if he might have just admitted to himself he had a mediocre film but wanted to raise buzz by editing it backwards. I will admit this is the only film of his I've seen so will want to check out others. I was interested enough to watch it backwards(making it forward) but the director could have just done this for me. I gave it two stars in stead of one because it was not awful. The bar was set pretty low with this one.
