Storyline

Scott Martin is your average 18 year old. He's happy with his friends Paul, Craig and Jasper. He's also happy with his girlfriend, Frankie. Scott's fallen completely in love with her, and believes she feels the same. She doesn't. Scott's friends soon find out that Frankie is seeing another guy, Cris. And, as any good friends would, they tell Scott, who of course is devastated. It's at this point that Paul jumps in and decides Frankie needs a taste of some kind of medicine: it's not her own, but hey, it works! So, the four friends set out to get cruel, yet comical revenge on Frankie. Written by Nigel Sheppard

Brilliant!
5 February 2007 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Spielberg, Hitchcock, Coppolla, Scorsese, Stone and now Nige an Ben. Yes, the history of Cinema is totally rewritten with this amazing and intelligent Rom-Com which blows away the cobwebs of traditional filming and sound techniques.

I was at first sceptical about the production qualities when i first heard the buzz surrounding this movie, but i wasn't disappointed when i saw it. The filming was slick and the action fast paced and, personally, I was not utterly bored after the 2.5 hours running of this epic.

With a movie this packed full of stunning debuts, it's hard to pick out the cream of the crop (no seriously, it's very hard!), but certainly the efforts of Anoucia and Nigel cannot go unrewarded, and some might say, shockingly overlooked at last years award season.

Verdict: Intelligent, classy and funny. You won't see another film this year.
