Shot as a promotional movie for 'Star Wars: Revenge of the Jedi' which was later retitled to Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983). It never got released in 1983, was first seen by the public in 1999.

Return of the Jedi assistant director David Tomblin came up with the idea and wrote and directed the short movie. Most of all the main cast from Return of the Jedi gave their time to film this short movie.

While it has never been officially released for the public, this movie has been shown at fan conventions, most notably the "Star Wars Celebration" conventions in 1999, 2002 and 2005.

The movie was shown in the UK at the National Space Centre in Leicester, during a Star Wars convention in 2005. 'Warwick Davis' did the presentation and did a question and answer session.

The film itself has no credits as the director didn't get time to complete it all in full and Lucasfilm archived it. However Internet versions have had credits added to it unofficially by a Star Wars fan.
