Go Time? SHOWTIME!
5 January 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Without a doubt, Go Time was far and away the surprise movie of the year. I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to view this movie at the Hollywood DV Awards late last year. Thespians Loring Murtha and Rob Brock both gave great, albeit somewhat goofy, performances in this unsuspecting hit that made me laugh as well as cry (from laughter). After speaking with other attendees of the award show, I feel confident in saying that the entire theatrical community desires that both of these performers continue to contribute to the art.

The two appear as what the audience expects to be police officers, only to actually turn out to be male strippers. Based on their dance moves and lack of agility, the women that the duo were designed to entertain were - lets just say - less than impressed. The performances of the goofy dances, as well as the disgusted females, were hilarious, and I am ready for a sequel!
