Four couples try to spice up their love life by having a wife swapping club. The difference is they decide who goes with who and who does what by playing poker. Everything goes fine until the Girls get bored with their men and their Bravado stories. What the boys thought was a win win situation turns out to be more than they bargained for, as the Girls get a taste for more adventurous games. Written by
John Conroy and Tony Herbert
Caught this one at a festival and was very surprised. Couple swapping is something you hear about but you don't really hear what really happens. In this film, frustrated and bored couples swap partners via a poker game. Of course you know that this is not going to end well and of course it doesn't. The women watch as the guys talk and do their thing and then things start to get really interesting. The actors were all quite good and believable. I only wish that the film explored who they were before the film started so we knew a bit more about them and what makes them tick. I don't play poker so some of the poker stuff was a bit out of my league, but it didn't detract from a decent short film.
